| No fewer than 44 artists, both Italian and foreign, painters and poets, sculptors and potters
celebrated the ”Rome Prize” which has been awarded for several years thanks to the efforts
of the Artistic and Cultural Center "Il Leone". It is a meeting place for figurative arts and
contemporary poetry. This is where all the present-day manifestations of art come together.
Here, Fidel Lino Cataldi is showing a painting in which the transition from representation to a
“terser” style is evident, and is an integral part of his creative development. So the dominating
features of his “Ship” are the colors of the sea, the water and energy which,
can call “source” and which we can call the protagonists. |
